Me, on Amazon:

Well, a lot of them make guest appearances, but this is like if Hood was the only writer and singer and frontman in DBT, which he’s certainly good enough to be. The story of the making of the record is interesting, puts in context the song themes, which are of the cynical but humane stuff he does so well.
Sound quality is great, as is the playing; I like this much better than his first solo record, and so much I just bought his 3rd.
But don’t get me wrong, I love Cooley’s and now Shauna’s stuff also, and would love to see solo records out of them; DBT is one of my fave bands.
This is a worthy part of the DBT thing.

,… but really, is there anyone out there rocking like this? Check out his latest power trio on *Live In Nijmegen*, and give this a listen .The band here is musically “better” and more pedigreed, but it’s FB’s show all the way, his songs and vocals are original and sincere, rocking and intelligent, and he gets the best out of his muso’s.
Oh, and to answer my first question – yes, Bob Mould.
